One of the most effective means to help curb the rise of the COVID-19 infection is through prevention and stringent contact tracing. By immediately knowing your risk of infection, possible spread of the virus (whether ordinary flu or coronavirus) can be prevented.

Should the Health Declaration Form prompts that you may be barred entry from your office premises, please be guided of the following standard procedures:
  1. Stay at home and monitor symptom (if possible, stay in a specific room and away from other people)
  2. Inform your manager/immediate supervisor
  3. Call teleconsultation hotlines or schedule a visit to an accredited clinic/hospital
  4. Consult your doctor and follow recommendations
  5. Actively update your manager of your condition

You may also consult through Avega’s telemedicine lines via:

Medgate:
  • Hotline: (02) 8705-0700
  • Mobile Nos.: 0917-5362156 (Globe), 0998-9907540 (Smart), 0925-7147794 (Sun)
Aventus:

The SARS-COV-2 virus has an incubation period of 14 days. The daily monitoring of one’s health helps in the early detection of infectious diseases (e.g., flu or common cold). By screening yourself daily (whether it’s related to coronavirus or not), you’ll be able to decide whether it’s safe for you and your colleagues to go out.

When to seek emergency medical attention
If, during isolation, you observed that your flu-like symptoms are getting worse, you are advised to get in touch with your Barangay Health Emergency Response Team (BHERT) for proper handling procedure.

Get in touch with your BHERT if you:
  1. Experience difficulty in breathing
  2. Are breathing rapidly (30 breaths per minute)
  3. Are experiencing fever, cough, and worsening of symptoms even if you finish medication
