When is the effective date of my dependent's Avega coverage?

For existing dependents of regular Partners: The effective date of coverage is October 1. However, you must still reconfirm them within the enrollment period. Otherwise, they will lose coverage, and any availments from October 1, 2024 onwards will be charged back to you with corresponding admin fees.

For new dependents of regular Partners: The effective date of coverage is October 1, given that the dependent is completely enrolled within the enrollment period.

For dependents of newly hired Partners: The effective date of coverage starts from the Partner’s regularization, provided that the dependent has been completely enrolled within the enrollment period, which is 30 days from the Partner’s regularization.

E.g., Partner’s regularization date is October 31 – the Partner has the next 30 days to enroll his/her dependent. The dependent’s effective date of coverage is October 31, 2024.

For enrollment of newborns or spouse of newly married Partners: The effective date of coverage is from the 3rd month of the newborn and from the date of endorsement or marriage date of the spouse. The enrollment must be done within 30 days from the 3rd month of the infant and 30 days from the date of marriage.

Please send an email to [email protected] to open the enrollment of your dependent.

E.g., newborn’s date of birth is October 1, 2024 – Partner can enroll his/her dependent from January 1 to 30, 2024. The dependent’s effective date of coverage is January 1, 2025.

E.g., date of marriage is October 1, 2024 – Partner has the next 30 days to enroll his/her dependent. The dependent’s effective date of coverage is October 1, 2024.
