When is the effective date of my Avega coverage?

Effective date of coverage is October 1, 2023.

For Partners and existing dependents, your existing Avega ID Card is still valid for use. You may present your existing Avega Card and/or your Policy Number together with your company ID or a valid ID.

For new dependents, you may present the Certificate of Coverage (COC) together with your company ID and another valid ID. You may download the COC letter from your www.benefitsmadebetter.com account under the Downloadable Forms tab.

The COC establishes your and your dependent’s medical plan coverage in the absence of the Avega ID card. For principal members and/or dependents that are confined in the hospital and will need doctor consult, a COC needs to be secured and submitted to the hospital admin and/or presented during the consultation.
